Delve into the red shoes underworld in this AR experience. Can you harness the power of the red shoe, or is it just out of your reach?

This multisensory, interactive augmented reality experience was created as part of the BFI's Powell and Pressburger Season. It is a new form of music video, reimagining the 1948 film 'The Red Shoes', bringing the uncertainty, surrealism and fantasy it embodied into new technology. I used AI to recreate matte paintings in the traditional set style found on their films, and used photogrammetry techniques to bring in real life 3d models using the software Polycam with animation through Adobe Aero.
